Getting Things Together
The countdown is on: 27 days till I leave!!!
I am getting so antsy to get out of Bradenton (and the US) and get to the Netherlands :-)
Until that magical day arrives, I am working on getting things together. Today I went to the bank to get my letter that says that I have enough money to support myself while I am abroad. This is a document that I need in order to get my residence permit once I am over there. I did not have to get a visa, so I am totally fine getting a residence permit!
I also asked the woman that helped me about getting some euros before I head out. She said that I can order them online (I swear you can do anything on the internet these days!), so I will be doing that soon as well.
Right now, I am keeping busy with my brother's wedding, which is Sunday. After that, my attention will be 100% on Europe!
Just wanted to keep you all posted on what I'm up to...don't want you to think I have forgotten :-)
Till next time!

hi sarah! I'm so happy to see you've started a blog! Your Bank of America picture reminded me of something I'm not sure I mentioned at the orientation: maybe you've already done this, but don't forget to see if Bank of America has a partner bank in the netherlands so you won't be charged for withdrawing money from ATMs. There weren't any partner banks in Argentina and I ended up paying lots of fees... :(
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for your trip!
